Unboxing videos usually appear online only once a product has hit the market, but for the new Xiaomi Pocophone F1 they seem to have come early.

The leak -- spotted by Slashleaks -- reveals pretty much all there is to know about the phone. And it looks like it’s a decent phone with premium specs at an affordable price.
It sports 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 -- the same one found in Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Xiaomi’s own flagship phone the Mi 8.

Camera wise, the sticker on the device says it has an AI dual camera, offering “dual pixel autofocus” and a 20MP front camera with infrared facial recognition. On the back is a 12MP + 5MP setup.

What’s more, it also has a liquid cooling system and a 4000mAh battery.

All this puts it well within the premium category -- but at the expected price of just under US$500. In comparison, the Galaxy S9, which costs US$720, has only 4GB of RAM, a 3000mAh battery, and a single 12MP camera on the back.
There’s only one thing we aren’t quite sure yet: The official release date. Although Xiaomi hasn’t announced it yet, Android Authority says they already managed to buy the F1 through an online store in Romania.
