A smartphone game about collecting concubines is a hit in South Korea
Chinese game Call Me Lord is beating PUBG and Honor of Kings in the App Store
A Chinese smartphone game where you collect concubines and wives has been storming the App Store charts in South Korea. Call Me Lord is even topping hit titles like Honor of Kings and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. Set in ancient times, it's about a noble family looking to expand their influence. The game has been called sexist because dozens of women offer themselves to the player, who collects wives and concubines so they can have babies -- expanding your family's influence by growing it in size. It's one of a number of South Korean games doing well in China.
