The Mi MIX 3 smartphone is scheduled to be revealed on Thursday, October 25 -- and it might be good news for notch-haters out there.

The handset has nothing but screen on the front: You have to slide down the display to reveal the selfie camera -- a bit like those retro slider phones from the likes of Nokia that were all the rage back in the day.

Xiaomi says the Mi MIX 3’s dual front camera can deliver 24 megapixel selfies. A LED light at the front can help users take brighter selfies in low light conditions. Meanwhile the rear camera can support super slow-motion video at 960 fps.

According to Xiaomi, the Mi MIX 3 will also be ready to run on 5G networks. It also comes with a whopping 10GB of RAM -- though it’s not the first smartphone to have as much memory.
