Top 10 Most Highly Anticipated Free to Play MMORPG of 2012 List Launched
Top MMO fan site BestFreeMMORPG2012.com released its top choices for the most highly anticipated free to play MMORPGs (massively multiplayer online role-playing games) currently under development, that are expected to be launched this year. Their ranking was based on how much buzz they have in fan forums and blogs.
The list is a little bit of a cheat as only first 7 are truely free.

Rift Open Beta due out in next few weeks
The Korean developer NetMarble is Launching Rift Open Beta on february 15th. Telara the Merciless – a six day Open Beta event – begins on February 15th. Servers are open from 10:00 AM PST on Tuesday, February 15th through 7:00AM on Monday, February 21st.
