The question that keeps coming up in the story of Anders Behring Breivik is:

How do we protect our society from an individual who thinks and acts like this?

Please bear in mind that Anders Breivik wanted to wear this “uniform” in court while standing trial for murdering 64 innocent Norwegian teenagers at a summer camp, as a part of his strategy to save Europe from an Islamic invasion. The ribbons from USmedals and army decorations mixed with templar Masonic Freemasonry symbols on the uniform, were not earned. He is a delusional fraud. Anders Breivik’s sanity is a hot topic in Norway.

Anders Breivik has appeared in the media in an impressive uniform of the “Order of Temple Knights.” He even demanded to be allowed to appear in court dressed in that uniform. The court wisely denied his demand, but allowed him to appear in a red shirt and jersey, which was his alternative demand. Though the police might not have been aware of it, this was still appeasing his surreal delusional fantasy, as the red shirt was representing a Knights of Malta Red Tunic.

He does not appear to have a mental illness. He is a clear thinking well-read intelligent narcissist. Narcissism is not considered a mental disorder, no matter how extreme. Narcissists cannot be treated, while mental illnesses can. Narcissists go to jail for the crimes they commit, not for being narcissists.

In the narcissistically delusional mind of Anders Breivik, he is commander of an army that will defend Europe from an impending Islamic invasion. This is a war that will be waged over the next 60 years. To conduct this war he has fantasised an army that will form in the near future. His reasoning in shooting the teenagers on Utøya island was a legitimate act of war to wipe out a future generation of traitorous politicians.

Dressing up in uniform, be it Civil War re-enactments or as Teutonic Knights and acting out historical battles, or historical role-play, are healthy and entertaining fun activities. I personally enjoy visiting historic battle site commemorations, where one steps into a medieval world, with medieval markets, selling medieval food and clothing, people walking around in medeival clothes, knights jousting and re-enactments of the battles, on fields where they actually occurred.

People engaged in historical re-enactments and role-play wear insignia to honour and commemorate their history and past heroes.

What Anders Breivik has done is nothing remotely like that.

  • He has dishonoured the medals represented by the medal ribbons on his “uniform.”
  • He has taken a respected uniform, traditional and noble medals and symbols, and defiled them by giving them his own perverted meanings.
  • He is dishonouring all the brave service members who have earned these awards.

Reading his manifesto one gets the impression he was creating a virtual reality world similar to those we have in computer games.

His use of a police uniform when he attacked the teenagers on the island Utøya, is explained in his manifesto:

“Due to the clandestine nature of our military order and operations during the 1st phase, Justiciar Knights do not normally use typical battle dresses (battle uniforms). Instead we adopt our enemy’s uniforms (usually police “battle uniforms/armour”) and copy their exact insignias and IDs in order to cause confusion and sow hesitation. By doing this we increase each Justiciar Knights chances to effectuate his operation successfully before he is apprehended, is killed or can escape.”

The use of the full dress uniform of his army, the Knights Templar, is also explained in his manifesto. It is to be used during special occasions. One of these occasions is in court appearances. Anders Breivik wrote in the manifesto:

“Our dress uniform during phase 1 will be used for the sole purpose of representing the authority of our military order and tribunal during trial. The likely destiny of any Justiciar Knight in phase 1 is either death through martyrdom or apprehension. In the latter scenario we use our uniform with decorations during our trial to show clearly that we do not acknowledge the illegal regimes operating in Western Europe. After all, the Knights Templar is the highest political and military authority in Western Europe. “During trial, we clearly demonstrate this by demanding a full capitulation from the criminal multiculturalist regime to our patriotic forces. “Obviously, this is not likely to happen during phase 1. Nevertheless, it is still an important formality required from all Justiciar Knights in phase 1.”

The uniform is based on the dress uniform of the United States Marine Corps. He has removed the original buttons and insignias and replaced them with his own by taking existing medals and insignia and naming them to suit his “cause.”

Medals:

The three medals he wears are all three Masonic or Freemason medals.

Masonic Knight of Malta Breast Jewel:
This called by Anders Breivik for the “Justiciar Knight Military Order breast jewel.” The Knight of Malta Breast Jewel is awarded to all Justiciar Knights who have earned at least 10 commendations in the war against Islam.

Masonic Knights Templar Breast Jewel:
Breivik calls this, “Justiciar Knight Military Order of the Martyrs.” It is awarded for heroic and exceptional service, through martyrdom, by defending the indigenous peoples of Europe, European identity, culture, traditions and European Christendom.

This is a post-mortem award. Since it is awarded after the individual has died a martys death, Breivik helpfully notes: “Just ensure that you have the necessary order information available and your lawyer (or friend/family member) will be able to order the commendations for you.

Masonic Knight Companion of the Red Cross of Constantine

Breivik wears this second medal, Masonic Knights Templar Breast Jewel, which he has made a post-mortem award to someone who has died as a martyr. Besides his use of Islamic fundamentalist terminology (martyr), and killing unarmed children at a summer camp not being “heroic;” if it is post-mortem, does Breivik believe he has risen from the dead?

Masonic Knight Companion of the Red Cross of Constantine:
Breivic calls this “Red Cross of Constantine Breast Jewel” and says this medal is awarded to all Justiciar Knights who have earned at least 15 commendations fighting against Islam and Marxism. The letters “IHSV” stand for In Hoc Signo Vinces the Latin interpretation in of a Greek phrase meaning “with this as your standard you shall have victory.”

Collar Insignia:

On the collar, on either side he has a red Maltese Cross. he calls them “Knights Templar collar crosses

He has replaced the buttons with 6 large and 12 small“Knights Templar gold buttons” with the inscription “IHSV” with a cross.

Epaulettes:

Anders Breivik's uniform epaulettes.

Breivik’s Uniform Epaulettes

Breivik’s description: The epaulettes are used to signify the wearer’s rank. The Knights Templar epaulettes are hand embroidered with golden bullion threads on red velvet background (commander) or purple velvet background (operative). A golden Knights Templar Cross is embroidered in the middle of a frame.

In an act of humility, he does not give himself the highest rank. He has given himself the rank of Justiciar Knight Commander. Higher ranks are, National Grand Master Knight Commander and Pan-European Grand Master Knight Commander. The reason for this apparent humility is that the last two ranks are left open at present and will only be filled at a later stage in the war defending Europe against Islam. The Justiciar Knight Commander is the highest rank at present.

Maybe the man has ambition. He does not want to remain a mere “commander” and has left the unfilled ranks so he can advance.

Aiguillette on Right Shoulder:

Aiguillettes of gold cord and are worn on the right shoulder by, among others, generals, field marshals, military aides to heads of state and royalty.

Breivik says that only Justiciar Knight commanders and grand masters can wear an aiguillette.

Medal Ribbons:

Anders Breivik in his meticulous research missed one point about wearing medals on a uniform. It is not normal practice to wear both ribbons and medals. But then his ribbons and medals are unrelated.

The medal ribbons are listed from top to bottom and left to right.

Anders Breivik's medal ribbons
  1. Army and Air Force Presidential Unit Citation: Presented for extraordinary heroism in action against an armed enemy accomplishing its mission under extremely difficult and hazardous conditions so as to set it apart from and above other units participating in the same campaign.
  2. Air Force Organizational Excellence Award: is an award of the United States Air Force and is the lowest ranking unit award.
  3. Legion of Merit Medal: Military decoration of the United States armed forces. Awarded for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.

  5. Navy Cross Medal: The highest decoration bestowed by the Department of the Navy and the second highest decoration given for valor in action by extraordinary heroism. The Navy Cross is second only to the Medal of Honor.
  6. Air Force Combat Action Medal: Air Force Combat Action Medal Was first awarded on June 12, 2007 for actions from September 11, 2001 and may be awarded posthumously. Awarded when serviceme and servicewomen come under enemy attack by lethal weapons while performing duties outside the defended perimeter.
  7. Southwest Asia Service Medal: A military award of the United States armed forces to recognize military service members who performed duty in the Gulf War, between 2 August 1990 and 30 November 1995.
  8. Coast Guard Arctic Service Medal: is awarded to any member of the United States Coast Guard who performs twenty one days of cumulative duty afloat or ashore north of the Arctic Circle.
  9. Silver Lifesaving Medal: Civil and military decoration of the United States Coast Guard. Awarded to any member of the U.S. military, or to a U.S. civilian, who rescues, or endeavors to rescue, any other person from drowning, shipwreck, or other peril of water.
  10. Navy Recruit Training Service Medal: Awarded to enlisted members of the U.S. Navy who have served as Recruit Division Commanders and have completed a successful basic training tour under the Navy Bureau of Education and Training.
  11. Broadsword: Unknown plain dark blue ribbon.
  12. Prisoner of War Medal: Awarded to any person who was taken prisoner or held captive while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States or while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing Armed Force.
  13. Purple Heart Medal: Awarded to those who have been wounded or killed while serving with the U.S. military. The Purple Heart is the oldest award that is still given to members of the U.S. military.
  14. U.S. Army Meritorious Unit Commendation: Awarded to any military command which displays exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service, heroic deeds, or valorous actions.
  15. Vietnam Presidential Unit Citation: Awarded by the Vietnamese government to all personnel in the Military Assistance Advisory Group, Indo-China,[1] during August and September 1954.
  16. Valorous Unit Award: Awarded to units of the U.S. Army displaying extraordinary heroism in action against an enemy of the USA. This is the 2nd highest unit decoration after the Presidential Unit Citation.

And Anders Breivik seriously wants to wear this “uniform” with these ribbons in court.

Anders Breivik's skull pierced by cross arm badge

Arm Badge

Arm Badge:

Cross of the Martyrs through a white skull on his left arm is a unique emblem designed by Anders Breivik himself. On the forehead are the symbols of communism, Islam and Nazism In his manifesto Breivik explains it like this: “The badge of the Justiciar Knight illustrates our patriotic struggle/ opposition against all three primary hate ideologies of our time: Islam, Multiculturalism (Communism) and Nazism.”

White Gloves:

This description of the symbolism of wearing white gloves would be beautiful and honourable, if it were some other person saying this. Coming from Breivik we find the description particularly repulsive and nauseous.

According to Breivik:

“The White Gloves are to represent the innocence of the acts performed and purity and attention to detail in action. Beyond that expression of innocence is a deeper lesson for us. Our hands are the source of our actions and we should guard them accordingly. The left hand serves as a constant reminder of equity and justice toward all. Always maintaining a true and sincere freedom from bias, we should strive to be fair in all of our actions. The right hand is recognised as the seat of fidelity and, since fidelity means a strict faithfulness to an obligation, trust, or duty, we must pay due attention to the protection of the right. The White Gloves should always remind us of dignity and obligation and that we should always strive to carry out our work with extreme attention to detail.”

Breivik is expected to die in prison: Criminal motorcycle gangs who are in daily violent feuds with each other united and peacefully rode side by side, in a 1,000 strong convoy, from Oslo to Utøya to pay their respects to the murdered teenagers. This was the first time ever that the gangs like the Hells Angels, Bandidos, Outlaws and Coffin Cheaters have ridden peacefully together.

In prison Breivik will meet fellow psychopaths, some might even know victims of the massacre. Breivik is the most hated man in Norway, even more hated than Casey Anthony is in the USA. There is a lynch mob mentality in the Ila prison where he is being held. There is a lot of “prison cred” to be earned for “doing him in.” the murderers and violent criminals in the jail regard Breivik as a “low life.”

Disclaimer: This article is not to promote Anders Breivik’s manifesto or ideas. We believe his own words are his own indictment. We believe it so absurd, his own writing gives a clearer insight into his twisted mind than any explanation could. We do not imply any association between him and the Knights Templar organisation, despite his Masonic Freemasonry symbols. The Knights Templar have nothing to do with Anders Breivik or his uniform with USmedal ribbons and army decorations. We believe the man, though a meticulous, methodical, well-read and intelligent individual, is obviously out of his gourd.

Update:

In November 2011 a psychiatric report on Breivik was published saying that he is insane and suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. This was followed by a second report in January 2012 that he is sane. A few days later a third psychiatric evaluation of Breivik was ordered by an Oslo court.

That report is due to be completed by March 2012, in time for Anders Breivik’s trial in April 2012.
